Coorg is quiet. Goa is not.
Campaign music for two off-season destinations, scored as opposites. Composed so a viewer feels each place before anything is said about it.
The brief
Off-season is an occupancy problem. Without a reason to travel, rooms sit empty. The brief was not to describe what OYO offers in Goa and Coorg. It was to compose the feeling of each place for a millennial audience that already carries the wanderlust, and let the feeling carry the campaign.
What shipped
Two destinations, one campaign. Two digital video commercials, each a montage cut, so the music carries the continuity the edit does not. Coorg is sparse. Wide space between notes, nature held inside the mix rather than laid over it. Goa inverts the register: warm low end, buoyant rhythm, bright top. Both were built from the same unlikely kit of tables, chairs, smooth guitars, sounds of nature and the human voice body percussion, composed to Animal Advertising's montage.
